EON Photonics is Turkey's first chip production facility established with its own resources as a high-tech research and development center.
It houses two MOCVD systems within its 250 m2 Class 10,000 cleanroom. One is based on arsine/phosphine, and the other is a nitrate-based system.
Using these systems, we can produce optoelectronic devices such as GaN-based high-brightness blue LEDs, UV LEDs, laser diodes, and solar cells.

EON Photonics Optoelectronic R&D Center Fabrication Department:
- Resin coating with 99.99% thickness uniformity and mask exposure with 0.5-micron precision,
- Coating of silicon-based dielectric thin films using sputter and plasma-assisted chemical vapor deposition methods,
- Etching of semiconductors, substrates, and dielectric thin films such as silicon nitride and silicon dioxide using inductive and reactive plasma,
- Metal contact coatings in a high vacuum environment using electron beam and sputter methods, and contact formation with rapid thermal annealing,
- Thinning semiconductor substrates to desired thicknesses with micron-level precision,
- Ion beam-assisted mirror coatings and their characterizations,
- Atomic-level smooth cleaving along the crystal plane and characterization using a Scanning Electron Microscope.
